Volunteering with the Veterans of Foreign Wars
Helping Veterans in various ways. Support community efforts with Feeding Georgia, supporting efforts of local schools with backpacks and other supplies. Clothing drives for distressed areas, and any other assistance within their power. They raise funds through BINGO games on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons. They provide an annual scholarship for graduating high school seniors, helping them take the next step toward their future.

At VFW Post 6449, our commitment extends beyond supporting veterans; we actively engage in community service initiatives to benefit the broader Fairburn area. In October, we hosted "Sandwiches!! Every Monday," providing meals to those in need. We also participated in the Fairburn Fall Festival Parade, fostering community spirit and connection. Additionally, our Bingo events not only offer entertainment but also serve as a platform to bring the community together. Through these efforts, we strive to make a positive impact on both veterans and our neighbors
